Siloreta

Logo, Website, Brand Identity

This was a personal project for my mom.

She creates handmade felted slippers and custom pieces, and the quality of her work is honestly off the charts. I wanted the design to reflect that, so I kept it minimal and clean, letting the work speak for itself.

At the same time, she’s a one-person business. Not corporate at all. She’s cheerful, positive, and that needed to come through as well. That’s where the color choices and the handwritten “l” come in.

The logo is based on the first letter of her name, but it also works as a needle’s eye with a thread running through it. A small detail that ties everything back to the craft.

The name Siloreta comes from combining part of her last name with her first name. It felt friendly, simple, and had a nice ring to it.

This was a pro bono project, and one I’m especially proud of.
