Dogs of Vilnius

Logo, Brand Identity

Dogs of Vilnius initially reached out for a simple vibe check.

We ended up having a longer conversation, and I quickly got into the idea. They were photographing dogs around Vilnius every day, and it felt like something that could grow beyond just one city.

From the start, I saw it as a broader identity system. Something that could work not only for Vilnius, but for other cities or even countries.

We decided to move forward together, and this direction stood out among the concepts.

The core of the identity is a minimal dog face built on a grid. I created a few variations to start with, each simple, but detailed enough to recognize different types of dogs. The idea was to keep it flexible, so more could be added over time.

Each dog shares the same “cool glasses”, while the nose and mouth change. That small consistency ties everything together.

The glasses also appear across other parts of the identity, adding a bit of character beyond the logo itself.

I kept the palette black and white. Simple, clear, and letting the forms do the work.
